We invite you to join us for a The New Americana Songwriter Revival – the first revival of its kind – a night celebrating the new wave of Americana music sweeping across the open plains of the Midwest. It’s an evening where three great Americana bands have joined forces to bring their most memorable original tunes to you in a beautiful setting. Great sound, great friends and great original Americana music will fill the Pheasant Run Mainstage Theater.
NOAH GABRIEL is a 10+ year veteran of the roots-rock scene, crafting his own blend of amiable roots-rock that pulls equally from fiery blues of Stevie Ray Vaughn or BB King and wry folk witticisms a la Lucinda Williams and Ryan Adams. After a time spent in the southern music capital of Austin Texas, Noah is now settled back to the town that made him who he is. THE DIVING BELL’s distinctive flavor of alternative folk-rock is marked by lush, layered vocal arrangements and ambitious storytelling. The band consists of husband-and-wife duo Clare and Steve Hendershot along with Graham Gilreath, Jake Gordon and Charles Murphy. The Diving Bell performs throughout the Great Lakes and has been featured on WGN Radio Chicago, WDET Detroit and AmericanSongwriter.com. SHADOWFIELDS is a national touring Americana band built on the songwriting partnership of its two lead vocalists, Heather Humphrey and Tom McKeown with Jim Livas, Tony Meadors and Gary Jacklin bringing the songs to life. Their style can best be described as a mash-up of folk, blues, rock and soul with a strong emphasis on catchy songwriting and creative arrangements. This sounds like Fleetwood Mac meets The Civil Wars at a Punch Brothers concert while hanging out with the Avetts.
